DOHA (Qatar)- Minister of Trade Said Djellab met Tuesday in Doha, Qatar, the Qatari minister of Commerce and Industry Ali bin Ahmed Al-Kuwari, with whom he tackled
how to boost cooperation and development of bilateral economic relations.
During the meeting, held on the sidelines of the “Hospitality & Food” show in Doha (November 6-8), with the participation of Algeria as a guest of honor, the two sides discussed the different aspects relating to the strengthening of economic cooperation, to raise it to the level of bilateral political relations.
Qatar’s minister of Commerce and Industry stressed the “importance of bringing economic and commercial relations to the same level as the strong and intense political ties between the two countries.”
He deemed it necessary to reactivate the Algeria-Qatar Business Council so that it plays its role in boosting economic cooperation between the two sister countries.
Al-Kuwari voiced a wish to pay a working visit to Algeria soon to explore, with Algerian officials, cooperation opportunities.
