In his address at the Forum, the minister called for setting up mechanisms for more effective implementation of the different agreements signed between the two countries.
Some 40 agreements and memorandums of understanding have been signed between the United Arab Emirates and Algeria. Most of them are related to investment, partnership, standardization, industrial park management, small and medium enterprises, tourism, education, agriculture, environment, sea transport, air services and consumer protection.
Among the sectors offering partnership opportunities, Bouchouareb cited petrochemical industry, engineering, petroleum by-products, pharmaceutical products, agriculture and food processing.
