ALGIERS- Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ramtane Lamamra, called Thursday for the strengthening Algeria’s role as a pioneer state that contributes effectively
to the achievement of peace and the unification of ranks in view of the current regional and international crisis.
During an orientation meeting held at the headquarters of the Ministry with the officials of his department, Lamamra presented the main lines of the action plan of the Government, and which
aims to implement the commitment made by President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune to strengthen the role of Algeria as a pioneer State that contributes to the achievement of peace and the unification of ranks in view of the current regional and international crisis.
The Minister recalled in his speech “the rich history of Algerian diplomacy that has contributed to the building of the country.”
The head of Algerian diplomacy further stressed “the importance” given by the President of the Republic to address the concerns and aspirations of the national community abroad, especially after the recent change in the name of the ministry and which attests “this strategic direction.”
He stressed, in this regard, “the importance of creating bridges with members of the community to enable them to contribute to the building of their country as they did in the past.”
The Minister gave instructions to give “a major importance to the training of the Ministry’s staff.
Moreover, the FM urged the ministry’s employees to “redouble their efforts to serve the country.”
