International Fair for Industrial Waste Recycling and Recovering in October in Algiers

ALGIERS- The 1st International Fair for Industrial Waste Recycling and Recovering “REVADE” will take place from 5 to 8 October, at the Exhibition Palace said organizers Monday in Algiers.
Relating to the theme of “The Economic Issues of Industrial Waste Recycling,” this fair will be dedicated to the issue of industrial waste processing, whose quantities are estimated at 2.5 million tons per year, while the recovery rate does not exceed the 7%.
Organized by the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CACI), in collaboration with the National Waste Industry (AND), the German agency GIZ, the national agency for the promotion of research results and technological development (ANVREDET), REVADE “will be an opportunity to establish contacts with suppliers of solutions and the seekers of these solutions, and to look for ways to promote investment in this segment of activity,” said Djamila Halliche, executive director of the ANVREDET in a press conference.
About thirty companies have confirmed their participation in this economic and ecological event.
Several sectors will be represented in this fair such as the collection, the transport and the transformation of waster, the management of sorting centres, the treatment of industrial waste water, and the industrial waste management studies.
