Berlin: Forum for promotion of investment in North Africa

BERLIN (Germany)- A two-day economic forum on North Africa was held Wednesday, in Berlin, under the theme “Partnerships for Economic Growth,”
in the presence of economic operators from Algeria and other countries from the north African region, as well as representatives of several German economic institutions.
Organized by the Euro-Mediterranean Arab Association for Economic Cooperation (EMA), in collaboration with the Berlin Chamber of Commerce and Industry, this forum groups together business leaders from Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Mauritania, Egypt and Sudan, with their German counterparts and representatives of the German ministry of Foreign Affairs, the ministry of Economy and that of Energy, as well as the ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development.
Speaking at this forum, the Algerian ambassador to German, Noureddine Aouam, broached the efforts made by the government to support economic growth and improve the business climate in Algeria.
He brought up the results achieved in improving the outlooks of foreign operators in a market that is full of potential in all sectors of activity notably those considered as priority such as industry, tourism, agriculture, and renewable energies.
