Mr Attaf received in Doha by PM, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar
Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, was received in Doha on Tuesday by the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the sister state of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, as part of his participation in the work of the third session of the Arab Economic and Cooperation Forum with the countries of Central Asia and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
On this occasion, the two parties welcomed the dynamic nature of Algerian-Qatari relations, in line with the ambitious vision set out by the two countries’ leaders, President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and his brother, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
In particular, the two parties welcomed the recent signing of a partnership agreement to develop an integrated agricultural and industrial project for cattle breeding and the production of powdered milk and by-products in the province of Adrar.
Referring to developments in the Palestinian question in the face of relentless Israeli aggression against Gaza, the two leaders highlighted the efforts being made by Qatar and Algeria to achieve a permanent ceasefire and to place the Palestinian cause in its true context, which requires the acceleration of the establishment of the Palestinian State as a just, lasting and definitive solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
