King of Morocco Mohammed VI congratulates President-elect Abdelmadjid Tebboune

ALGIERS – Morocco’s King Mohammed VI on Sunday sent a message of congratulations to President-elect Abdelmadjid Tebboune on winning the presidential election of December 12th.
In his message, the Moroccan king called for “opening a new page in relations between the two neighboring countries,” said the Moroccan Press Agency (MAP).
King Mohammed VI also expressed his “sincere congratulations and best wishes to Abdelmadjid Tebboune in his high missionsn,” added the same source.
He called for “opening a new page in relations between the two neighboring countries, based on mutual trust and constructive dialogue,” added the Moroccan agency.
Abdelmadjid Tebboune has been elected President of the Republic on Thursday with 58.15% of the votes cast.
