Algeria strongly condemns attack on migrant reception centre in Tripoli

ALGIERS- Algeria condemned “strongly” on Wednesday the attack on a reception centre for migrants in Tajora, near Tripoli (Libya), calling “to define the responsibilities and reveal
the perpetrators and all parties involved” in this raid, leaving several victims among innocent migrants.
“The attack which targeted a reception centre for migrants in Tajorah, around Tripoli (Libya), is an appalling crime that Algeria condemns strongly, and calls to define the responsibilities and reveal the perpetrators and all the parties involved in this bloody attack which left several victims among the innocent migrants,” said a communiqué of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Algeria reaffirms “the imperative of returning as soon as possible to inclusive dialogue process between all the Libyan parties to end the crisis and reach consensual solutions guaranteeing Libya’s sovereignty, its people’s cohesion and the building of a rule of law in this neighboring and brotherly country,” added the source.
Local media reported early in the morning that an air raid targeted a reception centre for migrants, leaving at least 60 deaths and more than 130 injured.
