APS : Sunday, 23 September 2018
ALGIERS- Saudi Minister of Energy Khaled al-Faleh said Sunday in Algiers there is no agreement so far on increasing production of crude oil and that OPEC is making sure the market remains stable.
In a press briefing on the sidelines of the 10th meeting of the Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee on Compliance with the OPEC-Non-OPEC Output Cut Agreement, al-Faleh said his country “does not influence oil prices” and that “there is no agreement on increasing production.”
Al-Faleh added that oil market’s current stability, with 80 dollars a barrel, is “favourable to producers and consumers.”
