Mr. Attaf holds talks with Saudi counterpart in Riyadh
Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, held on Sunday in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) talks with his Saudi counterpart, Prince Faisal Bin Farhan, on the sidelines of his participation in the work of the Special Meeting of the World Economic Forum.
On this occasion, the two ministers discussed developments in the situation in the Gaza Strip and current events relating to the Palestinian question, in particular the diplomatic efforts being made at all levels to end the incessant Israeli aggression against the Palestinian brothers and to strengthen the momentum of official recognition of the State of Palestine.
The meeting was also an opportunity to discuss relations of fraternity and cooperation uniting the two brotherly countries and the means of further strengthening them,.
Moreover, the two ministers welcomed the relaunch of the mechanisms stemming from the High Coordination Council and agreed on the need to mount up efforts to strengthen the economic aspect of these relations.
