Louh attends African Union ministerial meeting in Addis Ababa

ALGIERS- Minister of Justice Tayeb Louh will take part in African Union (AU) ministerial meeting about justice and legal issues on November 14-15 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, the ministry said in a statement.
The AU meeting, namely the third ordinary session of the specialized technical committee, will discuss draft procedure rules about issues relating to gender, women’s empowerment and the draft amendment of Article 5 (1) of the additional protocol of AU Charter on Human Rights and Peoples, for the creation of an African court on human rights and peoples.
The participants will also examine ancillary drafts relating to the African Charter on Maritime Security and Development in Africa (Charter of Lome), and the additional protocol to the convention on the creation of the African economic community, relating to freedom of movement and the rights of residency.
The participants will also discuss African Union bill on the implementation of the African convention on the protection of and assistance to displaced people in Africa.
