Algeria, Oman seek to carry out investment partnership projects

ALGIERS- Minister of Industry and Mines Youcef Yousfi received Monday, in Algiers, Oman’s Minister of Commerce and Industry Ali bin Masoud bin Ali al Sunaidy, on a working visit to Algeria,
the ministry said in a statement.
Al Sunaidy stressed the importance of the Omani trade show being held in Algiers, with the participation of nearly 70 companies from the Sultanate of Oman.
He expressed the wish to see the event “paving the way for partnership between Algerian and Omani firms,” calling for “facilitating transport of goods between Algeria and the Sultanate of Oman, especially food, mining and petrochemical products.”
Yousfi said Omani investors are welcome, adding that the ministry’s various services would assist them in executing the projects they want to carry out in partnership with their Algerian counterpart.
