ALGIERS-The first International Exhibition of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) “Algeria IT Expo” will take place on 13-15 November at the International Conference Centre (CIC) Abdellatif Rahal in Algiers,
and will be attended by national and foreign experts and exhibitors, organizers announced Tuesday in a communiqué.
Organized by Wokalaa Business company, the event is “a must” for IT professionals and “an opportunity to discuss the challenges of digital technology and digital transformation. The exhibition is expected to drain more than 5,000 visitors,” said the source.
Moreover, the exhibition aims to “showcase innovative IT solutions and service, promote the major achievements of many sectors in Algeria and encourage others, particularly economy, to move towards digital technology as a strategic option to eliminate bureaucracy, decrease costs and enhance performance.”
National and foreign operators will showcase their latest technologies in the fields of telecommunications, connected items, applications, software, as well as e-banking, e-commerce and e-payment solutions and equipment, consulting and specialized training, in an area stretching over 2,400 m².
The three-day event “Algeria IT Expo & Conference” also includes conferences, roundtables and workshops, which will particularly focus on “The economic impact of digital transformation”, “Digital transformation at the heart of modern banks”, “E-commerce, take-off moment”, “Challenges of digital marketing and e-reputation” and “Digital technology at the heart of economic society.”
