Following the death of Dr. Nabil Al Arabi, former Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs and former Secretary-General of the Arab League, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, sent today two messages of condolence to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Expatriates of the Arab Republic of Egypt, brother country, Badr Abdelatty, as well as to the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit.
Mr Ahmed Attaf expressed in his two messages his sincere condolences and deep feelings of compassion to the deceased’s loved ones, and to the entire Egyptian diplomatic family as well as to the members of the Arab League’s General Secretariat, praying that Almighty Allah grants the deceased His holy mercy and welcomes him into His vast paradise.
The minister also praised the rich career of the deceased, who was one of the prominent figures of Egyptian diplomacy and one of the deans of joint Arab action, and history will remember their dedication and loyalty in defending the causes and priorities of the Arab region, at a time when it is going through one of the most difficult periods in its history.
