Algeria donates five domestically manufactured coaches to Niger

NIAMEY (Niger)- Algeria has donated five domestically produced coaches to Niger to allow it meeting transportation needs and in support of the local population in the country’s north.
The five coaches, sent to the northern city of Agadez through substantial means mobilized by the Algerian authorities, have been received today by the city’s governor on behalf of the government of Niger.
An official ceremony marking the arrival of the donation has been organized in Niger’s ministry of Foreign Affairs in the presence of Algeria’s ambassador to Niamey, Niger’s top officials, including members of government like Minister to the Presidency of the Republic Mansour Hadj Dodo, Minister of Industry Mallam Zaneidou Amirou, and Deputy Minister for African Integration Lamido Ousseini Salamatou Bala Goga.
Algeria has provided support and assistance to Niger on several occasions, as part of its active solidarity towards this sister neighbouring country.
The support has included equipment, foodstuffs and medicine to the population of Niger, especially in the country’s north which faces various difficulties.
