Messahel transmits message from President Bouteflika to his Turkish counterpart

ANKARA – Foreign Minister Abdelkader Messahel, on an official visit to Turkey, has been received on Thursday in Ankara, by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to whom he transmitted a message of fraternity and esteem from President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika.
President Erdogan has expressed satisfaction with the quality of the relationsbetween Algeria and Turkey. Those relations are marked by a “common willingness, at the highest level, to further strengthen them for the benefit of both countries.”
He said that his upcoming visit to Algeria will be a “milestone” in the Algerian-Turkish relations.
Messahel added that Algeria considers Turkey as “an important partner with which it ambitions to develop a win-win partnership.”
President Erdogan asked Messahel to convey his “feelings of brotherhood and consideration” to President Abdelaziz Bouteflika.
The meeting was attended by Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.
