Algerian week in U.S. : Occasion to reinforce economic and cultural cooperation

WASHINGTON- The American capital, Washington, will host from 10 to 13 September the Algerian economic and cultural week in the U.S.
This event which will be held for the first time will be an occasion to reinforce the economic and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
For four days, the Washington-based federal centre Ronald Reagan Building, will host this event destined to promote the Algerian history and heritage as well as its economic and tourist potentials.
The week will be opened on Monday by Minister of Commerce Said Djellab, in the presence of representatives of American State Department and Department of Commerce, plus the authorities of District of Columbia which hosts the federal capital, Washington DC.
“This Week, the first ever held aims at promoting the image of an Algeria which is developed and culturally and artistically rich, an Algeria which is willing to progress and export,” Algeria’s ambassador to Washington, Madjid Bouguerra, toldAPS.
The Algeria week expo presents four days of opportunity to meet with more than 100 exhibitors coming from Algeria to showcase their Algerian food products, electronics, appliances, and arts for potential buyers, wholesalers, distributors, chefs, restaurant owners, and managers, said the Embassy of Algeria in Washington on its website.
