ALGIERS- The speaker of the Council of the Nation (Upper House of Parliament), Abdelkader Bensalah, discussed Tuesday, in Algiers, with the president of the Pan-African Parliament, Nkodo Dang, on a four-day official visit to Algeria.
Dang, upon arriving in Algiers on Monday, said Algeria “holds a prominent place” within the Pan-African Parliament.”
Algeria is a driving force in the ratification of the Pan-African Parliament’s new protocol, the African official added.
Algeria is holding the general secretariat of the Pan-African Parliament
