Minister Attaf receives President of AfCHPR
Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, received on Thursday President of the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights (AfCHPR), Imani Daud Aboud, who is on an official visit to Algeria to attend the 71st session of this African court, along with the delegation accompanying her.
During this meeting, the two parties discussed the cooperative relations between Algeria and the AfCHPR, as well as the challenges it faces in carrying out its missions and exercising its role in accordance with the provisions of the African Charter on Human and Peoples’ Rights.
On this occasion, Daud Aboud expressed “her thanks and deep gratitude for Algeria’s constant support for the African Court in promoting its role as a continental mechanism for protecting and promoting human rights, following a comprehensive and holistic approach guaranteeing all rights and freedoms both individually and collectively.
