ALGIERS- Minister of Foreign Affairs Sabri Boukadoum will head for Cairo to participate in the extraordinary session of the Arab League Council at the ministerial level,
devoted to the latest developments on the Palestinian issue, to be held on Sunday, said Saturday a ministerial communiqué.
President Mahmoud Abbas will inform Arab Foreign ministers about the latest developments on the Palestinian situation, said the source.
This meeting, to be held upon the Palestinian State’s request, has had the support of several Arab countries, including Algeria, said the source.
Boukadoum will reiterate Algeria’s consistent position which supports the Palestinian people until they recover their legitimate rights and build an independent State within the borders of 4 June 1967 with al-Quds as a capital, said the source.
On the sidelines of this meeting, the minister will hold “a series of talks with his Arab counterparts on the bilateral relations between Algeria and the Arab countries,” said the source.
