Morocco-Iran: Algeria rejects Moroccan FM’s “totally baseless” statements

ALGIERS-Algerian authorities on Wednesday rejected the “totally baseless” statements made by Moroccan Foreign Minister when he announced the rupture of diplomatic relations between his country and Iran,
which “indirectly implicate Algeria,” said the Foreign Ministry’s spokesperson Abdelaziz Benali Cherif.
“The ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco was received today by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs who told him of the rejection by the Algerian authorities of totally unfounded statements indirectly implicating Algeria, made by Minister of Foreign Affairs when announcing the rupture of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Islamic Republic of Iran “, Benali Cherif told APS.
