Minister Attaf in Washington for a two-day working visit
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf is to begin a two-day working visit to Washington (USA) on Tuesday, at the invitation of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
The visit, which comes at the invitation of his American counterpart, Antony Blinken, is part of efforts to boost economic cooperation and intensify political dialogue between Algeria and the United States, in line with the aspirations of both parties to establish a strategic partnership that will help honor their shared commitment to spreading security and stability at regional and international levels.
During his visit, Attaf will meet with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, as well as senior officials from the U.S. State Department and the National Security Council.
The FM will also hold meetings with American economic operators and representatives of the national community in the United States.
