Statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Palestine 24/08/2024
Following the death of Palestinian leader and activist Farouk al-Qaddoumi, member of the Central Committee of Fatah Movement and the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), the Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf sent a condolence message from the Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the brotherly State of Palestine, Mohammad Mustafa.
Attaf extended to his Palestinian counterpart, the deceased’s family and the brotherly Palestinian people his heartfelt condolences and his deep feelings of compassion, praying Almighty Allah to grant him His holy mercy and to comfort the brotherly Palestinian people.
The FM also praised the qualities and deeds of the deceased, which will remain engraved in the memory, like a lantern that will enlighten and guide present and future generations, to pursue the liberation process and implement the Palestinian national project, through the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state with Al-Quds Esharif as its capital.
