APS : Tuesday, 08 March 2016
ALGIERS- Minister of Justice Tayeb Louh emphasized Monday, in Algiers, the need to create a mechanism in the African Union (AU), allowing the African Justice Ministers to “periodically meet to examine judicial and legal issues.”
In a speech at the end of the signing ceremony of four cooperation agreements with Chad in the judicial and legal fields, Louh underlined the “need to set up a mechanism within the African Union (AU) allowing the African Justice ministers to periodically hold meetings to exchange views and examine the judicial and legal issues relating to international and regional organizations.”
Louh underlined that Algeria “amended the law on the fight against money laundering and terrorism financing to adapt to the decisions of the security Council.”
“In accordance with this law which was fruitful, Algeria is no more included in the black list of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) which withdrew its reservations regarding Algeria.”
