Mr. Attaf raises main points of President Tebboune’s initiative with US Assistant Secretary of State
The minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, received Thursday a phone call from US Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs Molly Phee, with whom he broached the main elements of the initiative of the president of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, for the settlement of the crisis in Niger.
The phone conversation focused on the latest developments of the crisis in the Republic of Niger and the prospects for strengthening cooperation and coordination between Algeria and the United States, to contribute to the promotion of a political solution in the light of the initiative of president of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
In this respect, Attaf outlined the main elements of the initiative and the proposals it contains for the settlement of the Niger crisis, based on a participative approach encouraging the contribution of all concerned parties at the domestic level, in Niger, as well as the regional and international levels.
