Canada ready to share its expertise with Algeria in Education field

ALGIERS- Canadian Ambassador to Algeria Isabelle Roy expressed Tuesday in Algiers her country’s readiness to share its expertise with Algeria in the field of Education.
In a statement to APS on the sidelines of the opening of the 4th EduCanada Fair, Roy said that the participation of 12 universities and post-secondary colleges “shows the willingness to share the expertise of the Canadian education system with Algeria and also the strong relations between the two countries.”
She said that the event aims mainly at presenting the numerous educational opportunities available in Canada and advising persons wishing to study in Canada.
The Canadian ambassador said to be pleased at the growing number of persons registered in the fair, adding that “4,800 have registered in this fourth edition, while there were some 3,000 in the previous one.”
Twelve Canadian universities and post-secondary colleges will participate in the two-day fair, namely the University of Saint-Boniface, the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM), the University of Quebec in Rimouski (UQAR), the University Laval, the University Sainte-Anne, College Boreal, Canada College , Cegep Limoilou, Avantage Ontario, HEC Montreal, La Salle College and College La Cite.
