Algeria wins Arab Excellence Award for Cultural Performance

ALGIERS- Algeria won on Wednesday evening in Cairo the Arab excellence award for cultural performance, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Thursday in a statement.
The award ceremony took place at the headquarters of the Arab League, on the occasion of the 5th Arab Conference on Culture and Creativity, organized by the Department of Culture and Dialogue of Civilizations of the League of Arab States, in collaboration with the Arab Center for Culture and Information (Caci).
The ceremony was marked by the presence of high level diplomatic personalities, including President of the Arab Center for Culture and Information (CACI), Abdellah Kherchami, Deputy Secretary General of the Arab League, Haifa Abu Ghazala and former Secretary General of the Arab League, Amr Moussa.
