Turkey-Syria earthquake: Algeria donates USD30 million to Turkey, USD15 million to Syria

ALGIERS- Algeria has donated, on the instruction of President of the Republic, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of the National Defense Abdelmadjid Tebboune, USD30 million to Turkey and USD15 million to Syria,
by way of solidarity with these two countries following the violent earthquake that hit them, the Prime Minister’s Office said Friday in a statement.
“On the instruction of President of the Republic, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of the National Defense Abdelmadjid Tebboune had decided to donate USD30 million to Turkey and USD15 million to Syria, as part of the aid provided by Algeria to these two brotherly countries and peoples, by way of solidarity following the violent earthquake that hit them,” said the source.
