The minister Attaf receives EU Special Representative for Middle East Peace Process
The minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, has received, at the ministry’s headquarters, the European Union Special Representative for the Middle East Peace Process, Sven Koopmans.
During the meeting, the two sides tackled “the developments of the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip.
The two officials discussed ways to increase efforts to establish a ceasefire and facilitate the humanitarian actions.
They also examined the prospects of promoting the efforts of the international community to find a permanent, fair and final solution to the Question of Palestine, ensuring the establishment of a sovereign and independent Palestinian State on the borders of 1967, with Al-Quds as capital.
