Terrorist attack in Burkina Faso: Algeria reiterates "firm and unequivocal" position against terrorism

ALGIERS – Spokesman of Foreign Ministry Abdelaziz Benali Cherif on Sunday recalled, following the terrorist attack committed last Friday in Burkina Faso’s capital Ouagadougou, the “firm and unequivocal” position of Algeria
condemning terrorism “in all its forms and manifestations.”
Anwsering an APS question about the 2 March 2018 terrorist attack in Burkina Faso’s capital, Benali Cherif “recalled firm and unequivocal position of Algeria condemning terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.”
In this regard, “he expressed Algeria’s solidarity with Burkina Faso people and government, regretting that victims fell in this bloody terrorist attack on the headquarters of the Burkina Faso Military.”
The Foreign Ministry spokesman condemned the attack on the French embassy in Ouagadougou”.
Besides, Abdelaziz Benali Cherif said that “no Algerian national was among the victims of the attack.”
