ALGIERS- President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, held on Monday at the Presidency of the Republic, extensive talks with President of the Italian Council of Ministers, Georgia Meloni,
who is on a working and friendship visit to Algeria.
The talks, which were extended to the delegations of both countries, were held at the end of the one-on-one talks between President Tebboune and Mrs Meloni.
Earlier, the President of the Republic had given a solemn welcome to Mrs Meloni at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Republic.
The President of the Italian Council of Ministers started on Sunday a working and friendship visit to Algeria, at the head of an important ministerial delegation.
Upon her arrival, she was welcomed at Houari-Boumediene International Airport by Prime Minister Aïmene Benabderrahmane and members of the government.
