President of High Islamic Council of Mali hails Algeria’s national reconciliation experience

ALGIERS- President of the High Islamic Council of Mali, Mahmoud Mohamed Dicko on Thursday in Algiers hailed the experience of Algeria in terms of national reconciliation, dubbing it a “social project” that can be a source of inspiration for other countries to restore peace and stability.
In remarks at a workshop held in Dar El-Imam (Mohammadia, Algiers) on the occasion of the celebration of Victory Day, celebrated on March 19, Dicko said that the national reconciliation initiated by President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika was “useful for Algeria and other countries needing to recover peace and stability.”
“This initiative is a model for safeguarding the Rule of Law,” he stressed, while expressing “satisfaction” that the State of Mali has followed this pilot experience to restore peace and reconciliation between children of the same country. ”
Moreover, the President of the High Islamic Council of Mali welcomed the solidarity of Algeria with Mali and its support in restoring national reconciliation, adding that this position is part of the constant principles of Algeria to defending just causes in the world.”
