Paying tribute to the memory of the late Master Mariner Vassil Valtchanov
A commemorative meeting was organized on 3rd October 2017 at the Vlaykov Cinema Hall, by the Embassy of Algeria in Sofia in collaboration with the Bulgaria – Algeria Friendship Association to pay tribute to the memory of Master Mariner Valtchanov, a symbol of courage and dedication.
“This great man has left an everlasting mark on Algeria – Bulgaria relations. He will remain a model of integrity and honesty for future generations in both countries”, H.E. Mrs. Latifa Benazza, Ambassador of Algeria to Bulgaria said, addressing a large audience of relatives of the deceased and friends of Algeria. She recalled Master Mariner Vassil Valtchanov’s great deeds in the service of the Algerian Revolution and the relations of friendship and cooperation between Algeria and Bulgaria.
A documentary of the Algerian Television on Master Mariner Valtchanov was screened on this occasion.
