RAMALLAH (West Bank)- Lady of the Earth Foundation elected Monday the president of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Personality of the Year in a tribute ceremony held in Qalandiya,
near the Palestinian town of Ramallah, West Bank, in parallel with another event staged in the Gaza Strip in the honor of the President.
The ceremony’s organizers celebrated the election of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune as the Personality of the Year 2020.
They expressed their thanks to President Tebboune, the Algerian government and people for their support to the Palestinian cause and their rejection of normalization with the Zionist entity.
In Gaza, the ceremony was organized in parallel with the West Bank’s event, inside the headquarters of the Palestinian-Algerian Fraternity Association, in the presence of many Palestinian personalities, notables, mayors, as well as the Algerian community.
All the speakers expressed their thanks to the Algerian leaders who support their just causes, recalling their constant support for the Palestinian Revolution since its outbreak before 1956.
The Lady of the Earth foundation planted an olive tree on Mount Al-Zaytoun last Tuesday, in the name of President Tebboune, “in tribute for his firm positions and as a personality of the world that has won the respect of the Palestinian people and all the peoples who reject normalization (with the Zionist entity).”
President Tebboune, in a telephone interview last Sunday, asked Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to convey his thanks, consideration and his feelings of brotherhood to all those who planted an olive tree in his name at Mount Al-Zaytoun, in front of the holy city of Al-Quds, and to the entire Palestinian people.”
