Ould Khelifa holds discussion with India's Vice President

ALGIERS- The speaker of the People’s National Assembly (lower house of Parliament), Mohamed Larbi Ould Khelifa, held talks Tuesday, at the headquarters of the parliamentary institution, with India’s Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari, who is on a three-day official visit to Algeria.
Ansari told reporters at the end of the discussions that he tackled with the Algerian official “all areas of cooperation between the two countries have been fruitful.”
There are “excellent friendship and historical relations” between Algeria and India,” he said, adding that the governments of both countries “should take actions to boost them.”
