Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, received on Monday in Algiers UN Under-Secretary-General for Safety and Security, Gilles Michaud.
The meeting was an opportunity to examine ways of strengthening cooperation between Algeria and the UN in the fields of safety and security.
The two parties also discussed a number of international and regional issues, including the situation in the Middle East and the Sahel.
