Attaf receives Director-General of FAOALGIERS- Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, received on Thursday at the Ministry’s headquarters Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), Qu Dongyu, who is on an official visit to Algeria.
On this occasion, Attaf “expressed his warm congratulations to Dongyu on his re-election at the head of the FAO, highlighting the great confidence placed in him by the member countries, in particular Algeria.
The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss bilateral cooperation and partnership relations between Algeria and the FAO, as well as ways of strengthening them in the future, including South-South cooperation.
