Mr Attaf received in Addis Ababa by Head of Tunisian Government
Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad Ahmed Attaf was received Saturday, in Addis Ababa, by the Head of Government of the brotherly Republic of Tunisia, Ahmed Hachani, on the sidelines of his participation as representative of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, in the 37th ordinary session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union.
During this meeting, the two parties reviewed the fraternal, cooperation and the privileged partnership relations between the two brotherly countries,” commending “the growing dynamic witnessed recently in implementing the guidelines of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and his brother President Kais Saied.
The two sides further applauded the steady progress in following up and implementing the results of the last session of the Algerian-Tunisian High Joint Committee, held in Algeria in October 2023, as well as the content of the ambitious roadmap adopted by the two countries’ Interior ministers on 30 January 2024, at the first session of the bilateral committee for the development and promotion of border regions.
Attaf discussed with the Head of the Tunisian government the developments of the genocidal aggression perpetrated against the brotherly Palestinian people, and the means to carry on marshalling international efforts in order to end the Zionist aggression.
