Mr. Attaf in Addis Ababa to take part in AU Executive Council meeting
Tasked by the president of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, arrived Tuesday in Addis Ababa, the capital of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, to participate in the 44th Ordinary Session of the African Union (AU) Executive Council, scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday.
The meeting is part of the preparations for the 37th AU Summit of Heads of State and Government, taking place on Saturday and Sunday.
This meeting will address several issues of international and regional developments as well as joint African action on the security, political, economic and social levels.
On the sidelines of his participation in the meeting, Attaf will have bilateral talks with several of his counterparts from brotherly African States.
