Minister Attaf received in Addis Ababa by Vice-President of Sierra Leone
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf was received in Addis Ababa on Sunday by the Vice-President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, a sister country, Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh, on the sidelines of his participation, as representative of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, in the 37th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union (AU).
The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss ways to enhance the privileged bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, as part of the follow-up to the results of the official visit to Algeria in early January by the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Julius Maada Bio, and the implementation of the outcomes of the important talks he had on this occasion with his brother, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
The two officials also exchanged views on the main issues on the agenda of the African Summit, and agreed to pursue bilateral coordination within the UN Security Council and in other regional and international fora.
