On the sidelines of the Doha Forum, Attaf was received by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Abderrahmane Al Thani, President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, to whom he conveyed the greetings of his brother and Algerian counterpart, Nadir Larbaoui.
The meeting provided an opportunity to review the relations of brotherhood and cooperation between the two countries, and the prospects for strengthening them, in the wake of preparations for upcoming bilateral events, notably the Algeria-Qatar Joint Commission and the bilateral political consultation committee.
The two sides also discussed the latest developments in the situation in the besieged Gaza Strip, as well as the results of the discussions at the Doha Forum, particularly the imperative of dealing with this crisis in a broader framework, by confronting plans to liquidate the Palestinian cause and speeding up the establishment of the Palestinian state to put a definitive end to the conflict.
