Minister Attaf discusses, in Addis Ababa, with counterpart of Mauritania
Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad Ahmed Attaf held Friday, in Addis Ababa, bilateral talks with his counterparts of Mauritania, as part of his participation in the extraordinary session of the African Union (AU) Executive Council.
Attaf’s meeting with Mauritania’s minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, was an opportunity to reaffirm Algeria’s support to the Islamic Republic of Mauritania for its rotating presidency of the African Union (AU) this year and its leadership of the joint African action in reviving the collective efforts to address the challenges currently faced by the continent’s States and peoples.
