Messahel meets, in Sofia, with members of national community in Bulgaria

ALGIERS- Minster of Foreign Affairs Abdelkader Messahel met Friday, on the sidelines of his official visit to Bulgaria, with the members of the national community in this country,
said Saturday a communiqué of his ministerial department.
This meeting was welcomed by the members of the Algerian community in Bulgaria “who were able to express their expectations and concerns,” said the source.
Messahel underlined “the particular interest attached by President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika to the national community abroad, as he pointed out, in details, the measures decided by the Head of State to meet their concerns and expectations.”
The members of the national community in Bulgaria attending this meeting “welcomed this initiative as well as efforts made by the Algerian government to deal with their expectations.”
They also expressed their “commitment to actively participating in the development of their country and strengthening friendship and solidarity ties between the Algerian and Bulgarian peoples.”
Messahel “paid tribute to the support of the Bulgarian people to the Algerian people’s struggle for their independence and to the active participation of Bulgarian volunteers who accompanied the young Algerian Republic, after its independence, in the building of the Algerian State.”
