Messahel conveys President Bouteflika’s message to Sierra Leonean counterpart

FREETWON- Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdelkader Messahel was received Saturday, in Freetown, by Sierra Leonean President Julius Maada Bio to whom he conveyed a message of brotherhood from President
of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika.
The audience, held on the sidelines of his participation in the ministerial meeting of the Committee of Ten Heads of State and Government (C 10) of the African Union on Security Council Reform, focused on bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them.
In this regard, Messahel made a presentation to the Head of State on the content and results of his talks with his counterpart Alie Kabba, notably the holding in 2019’s first quarter of the next session of the joint cooperation committee in order to diversify the cooperation areas and give a new impetus to the relations between the two countries.
Foreign Minister also congratulated the Head of State for his “leadership” at the head of C 10 and the “perfect organization” of the ministerial meeting and the “convincing results” that it reached.
For his part, President Maada Bio expressed his “appreciation” to the participation of Algeria in this Freetown ministerial meeting and its “significant contribution” to the formulation of the next stages, as part of the activities of the Ten Committee.
Sierra Leonean President asked Foreign minister to transmit his “brotherhood salutations” and his “feelings of esteem and consideration” to President Bouteflika.
