Lamamra holds phone conversation with Tunisian counterpart

ALGIERS- The minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ramtane Lamamra, had a phone talk with his Tunisian counterpart, Nabil Ammar, on Wednesday, congratulating him on his recent appointment
as Tunisia’s Foreign minister, the ministry said in a statement.
“The minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ramtane Lamamra, had today a phone conversation with his Tunisian counterpart, Nabil Ammar, whom he congratulated on his appointment as chief of Tunisian diplomacy, wishing him success in his noble missions,” the statement said.
The two ministers recalled the events of Sakiet Sidi Youcef and the significance of this common heritage for the two countries and the two peoples.
The two ministers expressed their satisfaction with the level of the fraternal and cooperation relations between Algeria and Tunisia, stressing that they had developed in a qualitative manner as a result of the special interest attached to the issue by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and President Kais Saied.
The two officials expressed their determination to continue their efforts to further boost their political coordination and economic complementarity, in the best interests of the two countries, by working for the execution of common projects at both regional and international levels, the statement concluded.
