” Georgi Zhelezarov: between Algiers and Sofia in search of light ”
On the occasion of the 120th anniversary of the Bulgarian painter Georgi Zhelezarov who lived in Algeria in the 1920’s of the last century, an exhibition of his paintings opened on 9 May 2017 in Gabrovo Municipal Gallery.
The same exhibition was also held in Sofia Municipal Gallery from 14 March to 30 April 2017. The artist’s works will be exhibited in other Bulgarian cities over the current year.
