Messahel signs in Rome joint Declaration on Mediterranean Erasmus

ROME (Italy)- Foreign Minister Abdelkader Messahel inked Friday, in Rome, a joint declaration on the Mediterranean Erasmus, on the sidelines of the “Rome-Mediterranean Dialogues”
conference being held in the Italian capital (November 30 – December 2).
The declaration, initiated by Italy, the host country, comes in support of European Union’s programme, “Erasmus Plus,” in favour of the Mediterranean’s southern countries.
The signatory countries, namely Algeria, Italy, Egypt, Tunisia, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya and Morocco, committed to “boosting inter-university cooperation and increasing meeting and dialogues among students and young researchers of the two shores of the Mediterranean.”
