Chahed conveys “friendship message” to President Bouteflika from Tunisian counterpart

ALGIERS- Tunisian Prime Minister Youssef Chahed said Sunday, in Algiers, he has conveyed “ a friendship message” to President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika from his Tunisian counterpart Beji Caïd Essebsi and broached with him the different aspects of the cooperation between the two countries.
In a statement following the audience granted to him by the Head of State, Chahed said he “conveyed to President Bouteflika a friendship message from his Tunisian counterpart Beji Caïd Essebsi and informed him about the discussions he held during his visit.”
“The state of the cooperation between the two countries in terms of the fight against terrorism, economic and commercial cooperation and ways to raise them to higher levels,” were among the issues broached during his visit, said the Tunisian Prime Minister.
He said that he assured President Bouteflika that his government will further promote its cooperation with Algeria, underlining the exceptional relations between Algeria and Tunisia.
