Captain Vassil Valtchanov receives a second medal from the President Abdelazis Bouteflika
On 3th August, the Ambassador of Algeria to Bulgaria H.E. Mrs. Latifa Benazza presented centennial Captain Vasil Valchanov with а commemorative medal and diploma which have been awarded to him by the President of the Republic of Algeria H.E.Mr. Abdelaziz Bouteflika in recognition and appreciation of the Captain’s contribution in the service of Algeria and on the occasion of his centenary and the 60th anniversary of the Algerian Revolution. This is the second medal which Captain Valtchanov receives from the President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika after a first commemorative medal awarded to him in 2004.
The ceremony was held at the residence of the Ambassador of Algeria in the presence of ambassadors, leaders, and members of the Algeria / Bulgaria Friendship Association, journalists and others.
After receiving the medal, Captain Valtchanov expressed his deep gratitude for this honor, saying he would always maintain his interest for Algeria and for the development of his relationships with this country that he considers as his second homeland.
