The President of the Republic, Abdelmajid Tebboune has designated the Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf to be his representative at the coronation ceremony of His Majesty King Charles III, King of the United Kingdom, Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and Her Majesty the Queen Consort, and the events to be held on the occasion of the accession to the throne of the new British monarch.
Algeria’s participation in this ceremony, scheduled for 6 May in London, is part of the enhancement of the historical relations of friendship, political dialogue and economic cooperation between the two countries in last November the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.
